NBT HEADING BACK TO IBC - April 28, 2008
Nothin' But Trouble is proud to announce that they have been selected as the BLUES SOCIETY OF WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA entrants in the 25th International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN.
NBT went out to Cefalo's Restaurant in Carnegie, PA to compete for the chance to represent the Greater Pittsburgh area. 18 great bands, solos, and duos performed including recent IBC challengers Willie Phoenix, Tas Cru, and the Patrick McLaughlin Trio.
A wonderful day of music was had by all but when the dust had settled, Bubs McKeg was the Solo winner and (YOU KNOW WHO) won the band competition.
NBT was fortunate enough to represent the Baltimore Blues Society in Memphis this past year, and are looking forward to being cheered on by our stalwart friends from Charm City as well as our new found friends for life in Pittsburgh.
Greg Haughey, the good-looking one, was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area and had several successful bands in the region. TEMPO TANTRUM, RAOUL & THE PASSIONS.
The band is already planning to return to the Steel City as a regular part of their regional schedule.
